Biofeedback
Offered at the Westview Center for Integrated Medicine, biofeedback can help you manage stress, medical
and psychological symptoms and enhance various types of performance. It is a treatment technique in
which people are trained to improve their health by using signals from their own bodies.
Biofeedback means living feedback. Biological signals are fed back to you, and the signals are recorded by computerized biofeedback systems. Through this feedback, you become able to change your physiological state.
How is biofeedback used today?
Clinical biofeedback techniques are effectively used to enhance athletic performance and learning and to treat many conditions, including:
