Westview Hospital offers a full range of laboratory testing, using state-of-the-art equipment. Our
laboratory, which prides itself on accuracy and speed, is available around the clock to support
patient care in every unit of the hospital. Results are available to physicians within 24 hours
with a full range of laboratory testing is essential to correctly diagnose and treat each patient
who comes to Westview Hospital.
We are a full service laboratory accredited by the College of American Pathologists, American Association of Blood Banks, Indiana State Board of Health and are in accordance with CLIA'88.
If you are staying at Westview Hospital, your testing will be done in your room for your convenience. Our laboratory services also maintain an accredited blood bank with a supply of blood on hand for patients undergoing surgery or emergency treatment.
Computer networks allow us to perform virtually any test your doctor needs, and in most cases, enables Laboratory Services to provide the results to your doctor within 24 hours. Each test serves a specific purpose in diagnosing illness or in spotting early signs of trouble.
