Nursing Services
Westview Hospital prides itself on providing wholistic, patient-centered healthcare to each and every one
of our patients. We also want you to be well informed about your options for medical care. Our staff is
on hand to answer any questions or concerns you may have with compassion and sincerity.
The implementation of a new Point-of-Care System at Westview Hospital now allows for safer medication administration, automated clerical functions and bar code technology that will help reduce patients’ risk of medication-related errors.
- Intensive Care Nursing Unit
- Our intensive care unit is a fully equipped unit specifically designed to handle acute health emergencies. Patients with a variety of illnesses and injuries may be admitted to our intensive care unit. Nurses certified in advanced life support and cardiac care provide personal primary care, rarely moving more than a few feet from their patients.
- Medical/Surgical Nursing Unit
- Westview Hospital is a unique provider of a special kind of healthcare. In simplest terms, our nursing staff views you as a total person. Our nurses have been trained in the osteopathic philosophy of care. Your diagnosis, care and treatment reflect this philosophy in the way your care is provided. Private patient rooms adorned by flowered courtyards and wooded views provide a serene setting for healing. Hospital volunteers also serve as patient representatives to address any patient concerns.
